Suddenly popping up everywhere.

I've been looking for a pair of flat oxfords. Surprisingly, there aren't a lot of choices. I can't get the beautiful gray ones that the girl at the Barneys Warehouse Sale in NYC had on. She said they were Dolce Vita, but I think I've missed them. Maybe I should buy a pair of Melissa shoes while they're in the front part of my mind. I feel like everytime I've searched for shoes in the last few days, Melissa shoes have popped up. I don't think I can say it better than the explanation on epauletshop.com.

From epauletshop.com:
Awesome closed-toe gladiator shoe! This Spring 2009 style is the rubber version of a leather style from Dame Westwood's 1982 A/W collection. It is the perfect transition shoe for winter to spring - looks so chic with tights in the winter and just adorable once we start peelin' off the layers! Three adjustable straps at the ankle in "can't-go-wrong" black.

As with all Melissa shoes, they're crafted in Brazil of natural and sustainable rubber. They are extremely comfortable, mold to your feet after just a few wears, are totally waterproof, and can be cleaned in a sink with good 'ol soap and
water. Melissa shoes come in whole sizes. This style runs true to size.

It's show time! This old-school boy-style wingtip has been tweaked by Alexandre Herchcovitch into a black and white spectator shoe. Great with jeans and all kinds of good with a knee length skirt.

I think I'm obsessed with the Melissa gladiators. They are amazing! I think I was better off not knowing they existed... ;)
