No bids on these yet, just saying.

3.1 Phillip Lim Oversized Linen Blazer

Net-a-porter had this for a sale a couple of days ago for $625, but after showing up in my inbox, this is no longer available--guess that marketing worked! I'm going to be sure to scope out H&M and Target (more my budget right now) to see if I can find an oversized blazer in a similar color. I'm obsessed with this shade of peach right now. Anyone see something similar?
The New Sam Edelman Harness Boots?

Ok, maybe not. But at least I could walk in these! On sale for $163 at zappos.com.
How cute is Erika though? And by 'cute' I mean totally hard rock!

Get it while the getting's good.
My eBay sales are now up here. Some fun Marc by Marc Jacobs, Prada booties, Christian Louboutin sling backs, Chanel scarf, Gucci sunglasses, Balenciaga Pumps--it's all there.
Edit: for some reason all 16 items are showing up. Keep checking though if you're interested.
Love for sale.
Ok, maybe not love exactly, but I'll be listing a variety of shoes, purses, clothes, and accessories on eBay. The first up? A pair a Miu Miu ballet flats that I bought at the Miu Miu store when I was in NYC for fashion week (Feb 2009). If you're interested, check it out!
It just kind of irritates me is all.

Have you seen Who What Wear's awesome Balenciaga Inspired post? I loved it because I saw these sandals at Barneys and nearly fainted with lust.

(Image credit, barneys.com) Who What Wear found a similar pair of Steve Madden sandals (pictured at top) which made me so incredibly happy--until I saw that they Steve Maddens were $170. Seriously? No offense, but it's Steve Madden and we're in a recession. Who's going to pay more than $100? I mean, compared to the $1200+ of the Balenciaga sandals, I suppose it's reasonable, but I'm still not paying it.

Mono Redux
I took last Friday off so I could have a work-free day before starting my new job Monday. (I worked Saturday and Sunday at the restaurant.) I spent most of the day shopping, but very little of the day buying. Why? With visions of monochromatic chicness in my head I went on the search for white jeans and a white blazer. I found a white blazer at Zara, but I didn't get it because frankly, I don't get Zara. Well, at least in this instance. The blazer met the basic criteria, white and slouchy, but the material was so cheap. Unfortunately, that didn't mean the blazer itself was cheap. Next item on the agenda: white jeans. I learned a very important lesson. It takes a very special pair of white jeans indeed to look good on a chubby kid. Strike two.
I headed into Saks a bit defeated, but I decided to see if they randomly got another shipment in of the Elizabeth & James blazer I was dreaming of. Alas, no, but an amazing sales associate (also named Nicole) tracked down one (of three size 10s in the company!) and it is now on it's way to little old me.
Guess I'll have to screw up my confidence and try again with the jeans.

Love luxe leather

I'm not always good at discovering new designers, so I definitely like it when I get a little help. I'm so excited to find handbag designer Rachel Nasvik. Click the image above to head to her site (which incidentally, is beautiful in its own right).
And then, buy me this, the Tabitha Bag 08 for $250. That leather is epic. Obsessed with the brown, which is sold out, sadly. Or maybe happily, as it's April 1 and no joke, rent is due.

FYI, Gilt Sunglass Boutique
While taking a quick break to catch up on emails, I decided to head over to my old friend Gilt to see what's on sale. They're currently having a sunglasses sale with three different designers featured. If you're looking for shades, Fabien Baron has some modern classics worth a glance including a plastic aviator and a wayfarer style (both $108).
The real excitement, however, is the Derek Lam optical glasses for $78. Take them to your eye doctor and get your prescription put in these, because they're cute, and you aren't going to find designer eyewear there for under $100. Purple, raspberry, and gray colored frames available.
Sorry for lack of photo evidence; working on a PC and grandma's confused.
Oh, and for my masochistic readers, they're having a Chloe sale, too. Beautiful florals, draping, colors--nothing under $200. No shoes though, so I'll sleep at night without buying something from this sale.

Shop It To Me Thursday

Loads of great items at ShopBop on sale now that I learned about from Shop It To Me. If I were in a buying mood (and looming bills have spoiled that for me somewhat), I think I'd have to get this Elizabeth & James Long Convertible Dress for $206.50. I would love to wear this all summer with a blazer thrown over and those Jeffrey Campbell lace up sandals I got.

Can't stop
I keep thinking about a pair of nude sandals, like two thick straps, with electric peach accents--you feeling me? Anyone have details of these shoes existence?

300+ and still shopping!
Wow, over 300 posts! Not too bad. For numero 301, I invite you to visit a new web site obsession of mine, Need Supply Co. Perfect name, too, because there's a lot here that I need.
I'm just saying. It's an incredibly well edited site, decent prices, and it may be where I found beautiful items such as these Jeffrey Campbell Asti shoes.
Of course, I couldn't help thinking of Stephanie when I saw these G-Shock Data Bank Calculator Watches.

And if these Short Arc Earrings were in stock, I offer my guarentee that they would be mine.
They have loads of great slouchy T-shirts, too, but I'm more drawn to these Free People Rugged Cut-offs--the perfect addition to my random collection of jeans shorts.
I love the color and the length...now if only the temperature would go above 40°F!

It's me, Amber
Listen, I know 95% of my blog posts are about Anthropologie clothes, but somebody's got to cover that beat, right?
OK so I got a little raise at work and I was thinking I'd go ahead and take a look, and Anthropologie usually makes me happy but rarely surprises me. But I actually had a couple of "what the...?" reactions last night.
For example:

For example:
"What the...?" right? But then you see them on the model and you're like "oh, ok."

And THEN, you see this dress and you're all like "How did Anthropologie get in my dreams??" and you go to the store to try it on even though your raise wasn't THAT big.

Calling all A. Wang fans!

Rumi just posted wearing these. Are they the Alexander Wang sandals I posted about earlier? Mais non! They are Fringe Open Toe Boots from Forever 21 and they are $34.80. Yes, you read that correctly.
Who What Wear Daily
I like getting these in my inbox, and I like the featured trend (maybe a little behind the curve, but certainly still 'in'), but I can't believe they left Kate Lanphear unidentified.

Oh yeah; hey, Gucci!
Another hot Ideeli.com sale going on now? Gucci. I skipped over it because I thought it was sunglasses, but when I went back, I realized... it's watches!
I won't be getting anything, sigh, but I'd hate for anyone to miss out.
Gucci 107 Bracelet Watch LD $383 at Ideeli.com.

Ideeli, are you reading my mind?
Lately I've seen a ton of Pour La Victoire shoes that I've LOVED, but I can't part with the $300+ to make them mine. Luckily someone at Ideeli.com is feeling me, because they're having a Pour La Victoire sale now. Oh, Sabrina, Lilia, won't you be mine?

Pour La Victoire Sabrina $134 at Ideeli.com.

Shop It To Me Thursday!
There are a lot of good items in my Shop It To Me Sale Mail alert, but many were still out of my price range.
ShopBop.com had a couple of super cute Alexander Wang pieces, including the Thermal Shorts that were all the rage.

Alexander Wang Thermal Shorts on sale for $130.90 at ShopBop.com.
While I dream of how comfortable I know these are, I still can't justify that price. (Easier than the original $187, but still not cheap enough.)

I really like this Marc by Marc Jacobs take on the classic trench--nice collar and tiger print--but at $369.60 (on sale at Bloomingdales.com), it's still a little too rich for my blood. Especially since I'm very happy with my collection of trench coats.
Finally, there's something about these Frye Billy Pull On boots that are calling to me. Maybe it's my Appalachian upbringing. At $187 I know they're a good price--nice cowboy boots can be expensive*--I still can't do it. Maybe you can?

Frye Billy Pull On Boots $187 at Tobi.com.
I'm going to investigate this Tobi.com. I haven't been on here much, but the sale section seems good. They have a couple of pairs of Melissa shoes for under $50!

Melissa Joy+Ah Oxfords $49 at Tobi.com.
